MULTIPLATE is an optional device, integrated in the work chamber, which allows MYSINT 100 to 3D print metal parts on multiple platforms in series. Using a completely autonomous mode, the MULTIPLATE doesn’t involve any machine downtime in the process, avoiding all the operations of loading and unloading the metal powder when switching between print jobs. The system works by positioning several build platforms inside the machine in the work cylinder. The system comes into action immediately after the first printing cycle: MULTIPLATE releases the build platform, slides it inside the recovery cylinder and at the same time it loads the next one in position, starting the printing cycle again. At the end of the printing cycles, the platforms with the printouts can be taken directly from the work chamber.
